Lori Brown
Studio Owner
Ballet Director
A native Texan, grew up in South TX and later settled in Fort Worth, TX after she graduated from Texas Christian University. She began working for Devotion In Motion Dance School in Fort Worth in 2004. Over the years she taught ballet, lyrical, pre-pointe, jazz, tap,and musical theater. In 2015 she became the studio director for Devotion In Motion and continued teaching and directing until 2020, when the pandemic closed their doors. She concurrently taught and continues to teach at a private school in Fort Worth as the dance teacher once a week. After many years of searching for the right land and house to move to; she and her family found their new home in Stephenville in September 2022.

Ms. Alex
Assistant Director
Competition Team Director
Ms. Alex is a kinesiology major at Tarleton State University with over 7 years of teaching and choreographing experience. She has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, pom, acro, musical theater, drill team, and hip-hop since the age of 3. Alex danced competitively for 9 years, served as a senior lieutenant on her high school drill team, and was a 4-year member of the Texan Stars Dance Team at Tarleton, earning awards such as Newcomer of the Year, MVP, and All-American Collegiate Athlete. She works with Danceline U.S.A, choreographing for high school teams across Texas, and has been sharing her passion for dance at Studio 6:14 since 2022.

Ms. Emily
Theatre Director
Instructor
Emily is a native of the Stephenville area. She is the wife of a Stephenville firefighter and a mother to two, beautiful girls. From a young age, Emily was involved in dance and theater. Her resume includes national commercials, theater, and print modeling for well-known companies. Emily was captain of her drill team, participated in One Act Play, and was involved with several local theaters. She earned a degree in Communication from Tarleton State University, where she later worked as the choreographer for Tarleton musicals for several seasons. Emily owned her own dance studio for over a decade, though she stepped back from that to focus on raising her girls. She is now excited to be joining the team at Studio 6:14.

Ms. Isabella
Instructor
Ms. Isabella is a Fort Worth native, and is a Kinesiology Major at Tarleton State University. She has been dancing since she was two years old, and is a proud alumni of Margo Dean School of Ballet and Ballet Concerto, where she was a company trainee. Isabella has been trained in various styles including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary/Lyrical, Spanish, Modern, Pom, and Musical Theater. Isabella was a member of her high schools drill team for 4 years, where she served as a Social Officer. Isabella loves to work with all ages and to continue to foster the love of dance to the younger generations. From Choreographing to teaching, she absolutely loves everything to do with dance. Isabella is so excited to teach at Studio 6:14 and to continue sharing her love of dance with the next generation.

Ms. Anna
Instructor
My name is Ms. Anna, and I’m from Rockwall, TX. I am a first-year student at Tarleton majoring in psychology, hoping to become a family and marriage therapist. I have been dancing since I was 3 years old and cheered for 4 years! I competed with Rockwall Heath High School drill and cheer teams in high school. In dance, I was a top 3 highest tryout score, Miss ADTS High Kick, and an award-winning soloist. In cheer, I won 3 state and 2 national titles and was cheer captain my senior year! I have been teaching for 4 years and am excited to start teaching at Studio 6:14!

Ms. Maya
Instructor
Ms. Maya is a Coppell, Texas native and currently a sophomore at Tarleton State University. She began dancing at the age of seven and received her formal training at the Ballet Academy of Texas (BAT) in her hometown. While her primary focus was ballet, she also trained in a variety of styles including tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, character, pointe, and pas de deux.
During her junior and senior years of high school, Maya was a member of the Ballet Ensemble of Texas, the pre-professional performing company of BAT. Through this company, she performed in The Nutcracker, participated in educational daytime shows for local public schools, and had the unique opportunity to tour Austria, where she performed at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna.
Maya has always had a passion for working with children, especially through her involvement at her church. She is so excited to share her love and knowledge of ballet, tap, and jazz with the students of Studio 6:14!
